Seasonal Solar Tilt Optimizer (2D)

Panel orientation is the single biggest lever a solar installer has before anything is even wired up. This 2D companion models a south-facing panel at any latitude across a full year, using the real solar-declination formula to compute how far off-target a fixed mount drifts as the seasons turn — and how much of that loss a quarterly, monthly, or fully continuous tracking schedule recovers. A side-view sky diagram shows the sun's solar-noon elevation and the panel's tilt directly (drag it to scrub the day), while a full-year irradiance curve and an annual-yield bar chart lay all four tilt strategies side by side so the fixed-vs-tracking trade-off is visible at a glance.
