2D Lithium Dendrite Growth (Cross-Section DLA)

This is the true cross-section companion to the 3D Lithium Dendrite Suppression Lab. Instead of a height field, individual lithium ions random-walk through a 2D slice of the electrolyte and stick to the growing deposit with a probability weighted by how exposed the contact site is — the same tip-localized feedback that drives real diffusion-limited electrodeposition, producing genuine branching dendrites rather than a smoothed surface. Push current density up (or additive down) to sharpen the branches into thin fast fingers; add electrolyte additive to fill growth in evenly; apply stack pressure to bias ion transport away from tips and into the valleys between them, mechanically flattening the front the way real external pressure suppresses whisker growth.
