Energy Burden & Fuel Poverty Simulator (2D)

A 2D, multi-panel neighborhood model of energy poverty: real building-physics heat loss (the degree-day method: U-value x floor area x heating-degree-days) meets a randomized household income distribution to compute each home's energy burden — the share of income spent heating the house. A pannable, zoomable grid heatmap of all 100 homes sits above a live burden-distribution histogram and an income-vs-bill scatter plot, so you can see which lever actually moves the fuel-poverty count, and which ones move the average without fixing anything.
