Radar Bird-Curtailment Wind Farm — 2D Radar-Screen Simulator

Real offshore and onshore wind farms increasingly carry radar systems that track approaching flocks and automatically slow the specific turbines a bird is about to cross, trading a little energy for a large cut in collision risk. This 2D companion renders the same six-turbine farm and working radar tower as a top-down radar screen: birds spawn at the field edge on realistic flight headings, the radar predicts which rotor each one will cross using straight-line extrapolation, and any threatened turbine ramps its rotor speed toward idle for exactly as long as the bird is in danger — everything else keeps generating at full output. The same Band-model strike-risk formula and cubic power-loss curve drive the live readouts, and you can drag to pan or scroll to zoom the radar view.
