Floating Wind Turbine Mooring Dynamics — 2D Catenary View

This is a native 2D counterpart to the 3D floating offshore wind turbine simulator, built around the same real physics — a damped spring-mass surge/pitch response driven simultaneously by rotor thrust and oscillating wave loads — but re-integrated with a proper RK4 solver and rendered the way mooring engineers actually draw a spread: each line as a physically accurate sagging catenary, verified numerically against the exact hyperbolic-cosine catenary formula, rather than a straight segment. Tune wind speed, wave height, mooring pretension and blade pitch and watch the platform's side-view cross-section surge and tilt, each line's sag tighten or slacken with tension, and a live strip chart trace the surge and pitch time history — the same signals a coupled mooring analysis produces for real Hywind- and WindFloat-style platforms.
