Sweep the frequency to find the resonance peak
This 2D simulator shows a loudspeaker driver in cross-section: an audio-frequency sine current runs through the voice coil sitting in the magnet's gap, and the resulting Lorentz force F = BIL pushes the coil and cone against the suspension's spring and damping. Adjust the drive frequency and current amplitude to see the cone's displacement trace grow and shrink, and sweep automatically to watch it peak sharply at the driver's natural resonance frequency — then tune the motor force factor Bl and the damping ratio ζ to see how driver design trades off output level against a flat, controlled response.
