How it works

Each published post ranks in search the way a real blog post does: a slow indexing/climb ramp, a peak, then a long decay tail. Post i's traffic at simulated age a (days since publish) is:

Domain authority DA grows toward 100 with backlink/promotion effort and quietly erodes when neglected (competitors keep publishing too):

dDA/dt = 0.02 · (effort/100) · (100 − DA)  −  0.0015 · DA

Total daily traffic is the sum of every active post's traffic_i. A slice of daily visitors converts to email subscribers at a rate that rises with average post quality (better content, better opt-in rate):

convRate = 0.01 + 0.02 · (avgQuality/100)
dSubscribers/dt = convRate · totalDailyTraffic

Posting frequency — how often a new post joins the spiral timeline; more posts compound traffic, but each one still needs its own 2-week climb.
Post quality — sets each new post's ranking strength and nudges the subscriber conversion rate.
Backlink/promotion effort — the only lever that grows domain authority, which multiplies every post's traffic at once.
Particles flying from the search icon to a post (weighted by that post's current traffic) and on to the subscriber tower are a visual trace of the same numbers driving the stats panel — they don't drive the model themselves.
