A working VR classroom often has only a few square metres of clear floor, yet the lesson wants students to walk through a full-size building, campus or landscape. Redirected walking makes that possible by quietly stretching the mapping between real footsteps and virtual ones: rotation and translation gains scale how far a real turn or a real step reads as a virtual one, and a curvature gain bends the real walking path into gentle arcs whenever the student believes they are walking in a straight line. This simulator renders both spaces side by side — the small tracked physical room on the left, the much larger virtual room the student perceives on the right — and drives your real body from the on-screen or keyboard controls, so you can watch the same walk diverge into two different paths and see exactly how much curvature a steer-to-center controller has to inject to keep you off the physical walls.
