This simulator renders the twelve concepts behind explaining photosynthesis as a 3D prerequisite graph: click a node to "explain" it and it enters an active working-memory buffer sized by Cowan's ~4-chunk estimate. Explaining a concept before its prerequisites are consolidated doubles its cognitive load; pushing new concepts in faster than the pace slider allows floods the buffer; and toggling analogies trades extra explanation time for roughly half the load. Watch concepts consolidate into green "understood" nodes, or get evicted back to gray when the buffer overflows — a live, quantifiable model of why the order and speed of an explanation matter as much as its content.
