Vocabulary Memory Landscape: Spaced Repetition & the Forgetting Curve

Language acquisition lives or dies on one mechanic: how fast a freshly learned word slips out of memory, and how a well-timed review can slow that slide dramatically. This simulator renders an entire vocabulary deck as a 3D landscape of glowing pillars, each one decaying along the real Ebbinghaus forgetting-curve equation R(t) = e^(-t/S). Reviewing a word — by clicking its pillar, targeting the single weakest word, or clearing every word currently below the 90% retention threshold — resets its timer and grows its stability according to the spacing effect, exactly as the scheduling algorithms inside spaced-repetition language apps do.
