Every classroom assessment ends the same way: raw scores become letter grades, and how that translation is made can change a student's outcome as much as their actual performance. This simulator generates a virtual class of test scores from a normal distribution, renders each student as a bar in a live 3D grade chart, and lets you apply three real curving techniques teachers actually use — a flat linear shift to a target mean, a square-root curve that favors lower scorers, and a standard-deviation stretch that rescales the whole distribution. Live readouts track the raw and curved class averages, the pass rate, and the grade breakdown, showing exactly how a curving policy reshapes outcomes without changing student rank order.
