AR Anchor Tracking: How Phones Lock Virtual Objects to Real Surfaces

Augmented reality apps place digital content into the real world without any special hardware beyond a camera, by running visual SLAM: tracking distinctive image features frame to frame to estimate where the camera is and which surfaces are flat. This simulation renders that pipeline directly — a scatter of trackable feature points across a room, a plane detector that grows more confident the longer a surface is observed, and a miniature AR model anchored to it. Turn up the tracking noise to simulate a dim room or a blank wall and watch the rendered content visibly drift away from its true anchor point exactly as it does in a real AR session, then use Relocalize to see the tracker snap back once it recognises the scene again.
