Rubric Design & Inter-Rater Reliability Simulator

Rubric quality is invisible until different graders use it on the same work — this simulator makes that gap visible. A five-criterion rubric (Content, Organization, Evidence, Mechanics, Analysis) is scored by a panel of independent virtual graders against a fixed work sample with a hidden true quality level per criterion. Tune descriptor specificity, the number of performance levels, and the number of graders, then re-grade to see each grader's score scatter in 3D around the gold target ring — tight clusters mean a well-designed rubric, wide scatter means the wording is too vague to grade consistently. Live readouts track pairwise inter-rater agreement, mean deviation from the true score, and the resulting class composite grade.
