Each method's acceptance rate is modelled as a base rate scaled by three factors: an age factor that falls off once the larva strays outside the method's ideal age window, a skill factor that only matters for methods depending on a steady human hand, and a colony-strength factor shared by all four (more nurse bees means more royal jelly available to feed grafted cells). The Cloake board additionally gets an acceptance bonus while its sliding board is in and the colony is briefly queenless above it.
- Miller is nearly age-independent — bees themselves choose the youngest larvae along the cut comb edge, so the human skill and age sliders barely move its curve.
- Grafting & Doolittle depend on a steady hand picking a larva under roughly 24 hours old — their curves fall off fastest and shift the most with skill.
- Cloake board starts as a graft but gets an extra acceptance boost from the temporary queenless upper chamber, visible as a jump when the checkbox is on.
- Batch yield multiplies each method's success rate by the number of cells grafted to estimate capped queen cells per batch.
