This simulation demonstrates how transportation networks can be optimized within a supply chain by weighing cost, emissions and speed together rather than in isolation. A shipment crosses four legs — factory to port hub, port hub to an overseas hub, overseas hub to a distribution center, and distribution center to a retail store — and each leg offers a different set of transport modes: truck, rail, ocean freight and air freight. A weighted multi-criteria scoring model picks the best mode per leg from your cost, CO₂ and speed priorities, an optional Eco Cap policy strips out the highest-emission option on legs that offer one, and the 3D view animates cargo packets flowing along the network while live totals track cost, carbon footprint and transit time for the whole route.
