🔬 What It Demonstrates

Sediment settling, surface bloom, central sink holes and wick-tunnelling are all real, visible consequences of how rendered wax is filtered, poured and cooled — the same defects a hobbyist beekeeper checks for before selling a batch.

🎮 How to Use

Set filtration quality, pour temperature, cooling speed and wick size, then pour a new candle. Once it sets, light it to see how the melt pool spreads — or tunnels — across the top.

💡 Did You Know?

A whitish "bloom" on pure beeswax candles is a natural, harmless crystallisation of fatty acids and esters — not mould — and buffing it with a warm cloth restores the honey-gold shine.
