3D Kaplan-Meier Survival Analysis of Quantum-Tech Startups

An interactive 3D simulation modeling the survival analysis of quantum-tech startups using a real Kaplan-Meier estimator. Watch individual startups represented as towers in a grid, which topple over when they fail, while observing the step-function survival curve evolve. Each tower's startup is given a true failure month drawn from a genuine Weibull hazard process before the clock starts, scaled live by a funding-environment multiplier; as simulated time passes, towers fail (topple, turn red) or are right-censored as still-standing survivors at the observation horizon, and the exact same product-limit estimator Ŝ(t) = Π(1 − d_i/n_i) used in the 2D version is recomputed from those real outcomes and shown in a panel chart alongside the free-orbit 3D view.
