How it works

Modeled on the real B Impact Assessment used for B Corp certification: a company earns points across five impact areas, and each area's maximum achievable points is re-weighted by industry sector — a manufacturer is scored more heavily on Environment, a retailer more heavily on Customers, a services firm more evenly across Workers and Customers. This 2D version renders the same underlying model as an isometric bar chart instead of a 3D scene.

Sector select — swaps the per-area weighting table, instantly rescaling every pillar's ceiling and the total.
Five sliders — how much of each area's achievable points the company has actually earned (0–100%).
Certification tower (center) — its height tracks total score; the glowing ring marks the fixed 80-point bar. Clear it and the tower turns green and the ring pulses.
Five pillars (surrounding ring) — one per impact area, height = points earned, color ramps red → amber → green with % of that area's own ceiling reached.

Real B Corps median around 50 points on the actual 200-point assessment; 80 is the public certification bar — this simulator uses the same threshold logic with a simplified, illustrative weighting table.
