Ecological Footprint vs Biocapacity

The ecological footprint measures how many hectares of biologically productive land and water it takes to supply everything a lifestyle consumes, and to absorb the waste it produces — mainly carbon. This simulation builds that footprint live from four everyday choices — diet, transport, energy mix and consumption — and compares the result against Earth's actual biocapacity, the roughly 1.6 global hectares per person the planet can regenerate each year.
