Viral pollution isn't only about contaminated water or surfaces — indoor air is a major transmission route, and it obeys real, well-tested physics. This 2D version of the simulator models a well-mixed room using the same Wells–Riley equation as the 3D original: infectious occupants exhale virus-laden aerosol "quanta" into the air, ventilation and natural settling remove them, and a susceptible occupant accumulates an inhaled dose over time that maps directly onto an infection-risk probability. A pannable, zoomable top-down floor plan shows the aerosol cloud spreading and thinning, alongside a live concentration-vs-time graph. Adjust the number of infectors, their emission rate, the room's ventilation rate, mask filtration efficiency and even the room's floor area, and watch every readout respond instantly.
