Percolation Threshold Curve: Habitat Connectivity

Landscape ecology's central percolation result is that connectivity is not a gradual property of habitat loss — it is a phase transition. This 2D companion to the 3D landscape-mosaic simulator makes that transition itself the picture: instead of only showing one fractal habitat/matrix realization, it runs a continuous Monte-Carlo sweep — regenerating small landscapes at every habitat-fraction bucket and flood-filling each one to test whether it percolates — and plots the resulting probability curve live. The familiar top-down mosaic map is still here underneath, built from the identical diamond-square fractal field, percentile threshold and BFS cluster-labelling as the 3D grid, so both panels are driven by exactly the same numerical model; only the top panel adds the statistical view of the threshold that a single rendered landscape can never reveal on its own.
