Assisted Migration: Niche-Match Grid (2D)

Ecosystem restoration succeeds or fails on one quiet decision: which seed source do you plant? This 2D companion to the 3D restoration-provenance simulator lays the same instanced planting grid across a top-down elevation-climate gradient, but as a draggable, zoomable map instead of a rendered scene, paired with a live niche-probability curve that scatters every planted tree's real mismatch against the Gaussian establishment model. Push the projected 2070 warming, source seed from a warmer or cooler provenance, and widen or narrow the species' climate-niche tolerance — every slider recolours the stand immediately, without needing to replant, while survival rate, mean mismatch, a genetic-diversity proxy and an estimated time to canopy closure update alongside it. (This build also fixes a bug found in the 3D source: its formula let the elevation gradient cancel out of the mismatch calculation entirely — see "How it works" for the derivation and the corrected math.)
