Apiary Biosecurity: Notifiable Disease Network Map (2D)

This 2D counterpart reframes the same real American-foulbrood biosecurity problem as an epidemic on an explicit contact graph rather than spatial particle drift in a 3D scene. Twenty hives sit as nodes on a drift-route network; hygiene sets the per-edge transmission chance, inspection frequency determines how fast a case is caught, and — the mechanic the 3D lab abstracts away — a statutory notification delay means the outbreak keeps spreading along the graph for real simulated days after detection before a hop-radius quarantine actually cuts the infected hive's edges. A live time-series chart shows the resulting outbreak curve, so you can see directly how a longer notification delay lets infections climb higher before containment bends the curve back down.
