Geothermal Geyser CYCLE

Hydrostatic pressure from the water column above the heated rock suppresses the local boiling point. Once chamber temperature crosses that threshold, superheated water flashes to steam in a chain reaction — draining the chamber in an eruption — after which cool groundwater recharges it and the cycle begins again.
Depth-suppressed boiling (Clausius–Clapeyron-style) → superheat → flash-boil chain reaction → drain → groundwater recharge → repeat.
