Cloud vs Edge Latency Simulator

Edge computing moves processing away from a centralized cloud server and onto (or near) the device that generates the data, cutting out the network round trip that dominates cloud latency. This simulator makes that difference visible: identical requests leave a local device at the same instant on two paths — one races down a fiber link to a distant cloud data center and back, the other is handled instantly by a nearby edge node. Watch the packets travel in real time while you tune the distance to the cloud, how long the cloud server and the edge node each take to process a request, and how many requests arrive per second, and see the round-trip latency and the resulting speedup update live.
