A blockchain has no central server deciding what happened next — instead, independent miners compete to solve a proof-of-work puzzle, and the network agrees to trust whichever chain represents the most accumulated work. This simulation shows that process live: watch mining nodes race to extend the chain, see temporary forks appear when two miners find a block almost simultaneously, and observe the longest-chain rule resolve the fork by discarding the losing branch as an orphan block.
