Mobile Health Data Sync 2D: Multi-Device Deduplication

Mobile healthcare apps pull step counts, heart-rate samples and other vitals from several wearables at once through APIs like Apple HealthKit and Google Fit โ€” a phone in your pocket, a smartwatch on your wrist and a fitness band can all report the same footstep within a fraction of a second of each other. This simulator renders that pipeline as a live top-down event map: three devices stream timestamped step events toward a central Health Record hub, and a merge-window reconciliation algorithm decides in real time whether an incoming event is a genuinely new burst of activity or a duplicate report of steps already counted. Adjust the merge window, the trusted priority source and each device's on/off state, pan and zoom the map, and watch the naive raw total pull away from โ€” or converge with โ€” the reconciled total, with the resulting double-counting error tracked live.
