This simulation demonstrates the principles of cybersecurity architecture, focusing on how systems can be protected from malicious attacks through layered security and defense-in-depth. Five concentric shells — perimeter firewall, network segmentation, host/endpoint protection, an application-layer WAF, and data encryption at rest — surround a protected asset at the core. Tune each layer's strength and launch simulated attacks; each shell independently rolls a probability check as the attack passes through, and a live compound-probability readout shows exactly how much layering multiplies your protection compared to any single control alone.
