Certificate Revocation Race 2D: Detection-Latency Distributions

This 2D companion to the 3D Certificate Revocation Race sim replaces the single animated handshake timeline with a Monte Carlo ensemble: on each race, 400 independent simulated revocation events are drawn, each at a uniformly random instant relative to its method's own periodic clock, and the resulting detection-latency distribution for CRL polling, live OCSP queries, and OCSP stapling builds live as a histogram, bar by bar. Because the arrival phase is uniform, each method's latency is provably a uniform random variable with a closed-form mean and standard deviation — this sim overlays that analytic prediction as a dashed line on top of the live simulated histogram so you can watch the empirical average converge to the theoretical one in real time. Tune network RTT, the refresh interval, and the client connection rate to see how each parameter reshapes — or merely shifts — each method's distribution, and track live OCSP's per-visit privacy cost as responder queries per hour.
