WELCOME TO THE DAO LAB!
Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) require balanced governance: from tokenomics to voting systems. This page allows modeling votes, assessing power concentration, and forecasting budgets.
These tools are for DAO founders, web3 researchers, and blockchain analysts.
1. Calculation of voting result
2. Gini/Herfindahl Centrality Index
3. DAO Budget
📚 Article: DAO Models & Management
VOTING
1 token = 1 vote, delegation, quadratic voting, conviction voting. Key concepts: quorum, supermajority, time locks.
Tokenomics
INFLATION, vesting, treasury distribution, contributor incentive plans. Systems of rewards based on KPI.
Safety
- Multi-pouch bag, emergency brake.
- Audit smart contracts.
- On-chain vs off-chain voting, Snapshot, Gnosis Safe.
LEGAL ASPECTS
DAO LLC, tax implications, token regulations as securities, KYC/AML.
COMMUNITY
Forums, proposals (RFC → Temp Check → Final Vote), moderator roles, committees, participant education
❓ FREQUENT QUESTIONS ABOUT DAO
📖 Manual with examples
Example 1: Voting
Quorum 25%, support 60%, votes 'for' 180k, 'against' 40k, tokens 800k.
Quorum = (180k+40k)/800k = 27.5% → reached
Support = 180k / (180k+40k) = 81.8% → passed
Example 2: Gini
The top-5 hold 40% of tokens.
Gini ≈ 0.42 → moderate concentration
Example 3: Budget
Income 5M, treasury 12M, inflation 3%, expenses 4M
Total budget = 5 + 0.03×12 - 4 = 5.36 million USD
Example 4: Delegation
Delegator delegates 10k tokens to delegate → delegate gains additional weight in voting.
Example 5: Rage Quit
Participant with 2% tokens → takes 2% of the pot if the decision goes against their interests.
