📷 Photography Fundamentals: Exposure, Composition and Light

An interactive 3D studio still-life where aperture, shutter speed, ISO and the key light's angle all drive real changes to brightness, background blur, motion trails, grain and shadow warmth.

🔬 What It Demonstrates

The exposure triangle in action: aperture trades depth of field for light, shutter speed trades motion blur for light, and ISO trades noise for brightness — with a live EV meter showing how the three combine.

🎮 How to Use

Move the aperture, shutter and ISO sliders to see the iris close, the ball's motion trail lengthen, and grain appear. Swing the light angle from golden-hour to overhead, and toggle the rule-of-thirds grid to study composition.

💡 Did You Know?

Aperture, shutter speed and ISO are measured in "stops" because each one, doubled or halved, doubles or halves the light reaching the sensor — three completely different settings can produce an identical exposure.
