Cloud architecture organizes computing into layers — infrastructure, platform and application — delivered as services over the internet. This simulator visualizes a small multi-region cloud cluster: physical server racks running a hypervisor host virtual machines across those three layers, a central network hub carries SDN/VPN traffic out to each region, and an auto-scaler lights up (or dims) VM instances as traffic demand changes. Tune the traffic demand, virtualization density and number of active regions, or trigger a simulated region failure, to see how redundancy and auto-scaling keep the cluster available.
