Subscription Payment Retry Cascade (2D)

Mobile subscription apps lose a meaningful slice of recurring revenue not to cancellations but to involuntary churn — a card that silently declines at renewal time. This simulator models the dunning process that mobile payment stacks (StoreKit, Google Play Billing, and gateway-level tools like Stripe Smart Retries) run to win that revenue back: a ring of 180 subscribers, each billed on its own day of a 30-day cycle, declines for a mix of insufficient-funds, expired-card, and fraud-block reasons, then gets retried on a configurable schedule whose timing — not just its attempt count — determines whether the charge ultimately recovers or the subscriber is lost for good. A layered history chart beneath the ring tracks the population split and cumulative recovered revenue across the run.
