NDVI Spectral Reflectance Scanner

This simulator rebuilds the physics behind satellite vegetation monitoring from the ground up: a grid of canopy cells each carries its own red and near-infrared reflectance, computed from a linear soil–leaf mixture model driven by chlorophyll health and vegetation cover. A satellite sweeps overhead in a pushbroom scan while the grid renders live in true color, single-band grayscale, or the derived NDVI false-color map that real Earth-observation missions use to flag crop stress, drought and deforestation from orbit — with the same (NIR − Red)/(NIR + Red) formula driving every pixel.
