Kelp Sinking Carbon Removal

This simulator models an engineered ocean carbon-dioxide-removal pathway: growing fast macroalgae at the surface, then deliberately ballasting and sinking the harvested biomass into the deep ocean so its fixed carbon is isolated from the atmosphere. A live water column shows the kelp raft growing under logistic light/nutrient limits, periodic harvest bundles descending past a bacteria-rich shallow layer, and the Martin remineralization power law deciding — bundle by bundle — how much organic carbon survives to the sequestration horizon as verified CO₂ removal versus how much is respired back into the water column before it gets that deep.
