Governments and corporate buyers rarely fund a single carbon project — they build a portfolio across afforestation, mangrove ("blue carbon") restoration, soil carbon farming and avoided deforestation, because each pathway has a different cost curve, sequestration rate and realistic land ceiling. This simulator renders four 3D land parcels that visibly fill with trees, mangroves, cover crops or standing forest as you shift an annual budget between them, applying a saturating diminishing-returns cost curve per pathway so the tool reproduces the real trade-off: a cheap-looking pathway gets expensive fast once its best sites are used up. Live readouts track total CO₂ sequestered per year, total land committed and the blended cost per tonne, and a "cheapest-first" button shows what a purely cost-minimising allocator would choose.
