Debris Flow Cross-Section: 2D Bingham Solve & Levee Accretion

This is the two-dimensional counterpart to the 3D debris-flow rheology simulator. Instead of an analytic vertical velocity profile stretched across the channel with a hand-tuned lateral factor, this version numerically solves the actual Bingham momentum-balance PDE over the channel's cross-section — a regularized, iteratively relaxed finite-volume solve that finds the rigid plug, the shearing basal layer and the stalled banks as genuine outputs of the governing equation. A second panel shows those banks physically accreting into levees over time as stalled surface material keeps depositing at the margins, mirroring how real debris flows build natural-hazard deposits pulse after pulse. Adjust slope angle, yield stress, plastic viscosity, flow depth and channel width and watch the whole cross-section re-solve itself in real time.
