Aquifer Drawdown & Land Subsidence: Radial Profile (2D)

Pump a confined aquifer through a single well and watch the real Cooper–Jacob drawdown curve s(r,t) traced directly against radial distance from the well, with a clay-aquitard band beneath it whose thickness shrinks as compaction accumulates. A second, independent panel plots the observation point's effective-stress-versus-compaction path — a soil-mechanics phase diagram, not a rendering of the same terrain from another angle — so you can see exactly when the clay is behaving elastically and when it has crossed into irreversible virgin compaction. Adjust discharge, transmissivity and storativity, move the observation radius, and pause pumping to watch the elastic component recover while the permanent component stays sunk for good.
