CsPb(Cl/Br/I)₃ nanocrystals emit color-pure, size- and composition-tunable light because their bandgap is set by two independent knobs: the halide anion (which fixes the bulk gap from violet CsPbCl₃ through green CsPbBr₃ to red CsPbI₃) and the crystal diameter (which adds a quantum-confinement blue shift as the dot shrinks toward the exciton Bohr radius). This simulator renders both mechanisms directly — a live band-diagram readout of bulk gap, confinement shift and total bandgap; a 405 nm pump exciting bound electron-hole pairs only when its photon energy still clears the current gap; and a competition between radiative photoluminescence and non-radiative surface trapping that produces a real photoluminescence quantum yield. Sweep diameter and halide mix to watch the emission color and PLQY respond exactly as they do in a real colloidal synthesis.
