Firecracker Chain Reaction 3D: Fuse-Burn Kinetics

This simulation models a string of firecrackers joined by a common fuse the way a real New Year's "black cat" string works: light one end, and the flame front burns down each fuse segment at a fixed rate before jumping the splice to the next cracker, whose own rapid gas-pressure buildup then pops it and (if the splice holds) relights the process for its neighbor. Nothing here is scripted to succeed — the chain's speed and its odds of finishing intact both fall out of the fuse burn rate, the splice contact quality and the humidity, so a bad combination genuinely stalls the chain partway down the string, exactly as it would outdoors on a damp night.
