Supercritical CO2 Extraction 2D: Packed-Bed Plug-Flow Model

This is the 2D counterpart to the 3D supercritical CO₂ extraction plant: instead of animating individual carrier particles through a rendered vessel, it solves an explicit finite-difference plug-flow model of the packed bed — a coupled solid-depletion / fluid-advection system discretised into 48 cells and integrated every frame with an upwind scheme. CO₂ density still comes from the real Van der Waals equation of state, solved independently by Newton–Raphson at your chosen pressure and temperature, and that density drives a Chrastil-style solvating-power index exactly as it does in a real SFE process. The separator panel computes its own density at a fixed lower pressure to show the pressure-swing precipitation step quantitatively, and a live density–pressure isotherm plus a yield-history sparkline expose the underlying physics directly as data rather than only as a 3D animation.
