Micellar Catalysis 2D — Pseudophase Compartment Diagram

Surfactant micelles don't just self-assemble — once formed, they can dramatically accelerate a chemical reaction by acting as nanoscale reaction vessels. This 2D companion strips the mechanism down to the two-pseudophase picture the kinetic theory is actually built on: a bulk-water compartment and a pooled micellar compartment, with substrate and nucleophile dots hopping between them at rates set by the surfactant dose and the substrate's partition coefficient.
