This 2D simulator heats an ethanol/water mixture in a flask and draws the vapor rising through a still-head, cooling in a condenser, and dripping into a collection flask — the same simple-distillation setup as a real lab. The boiling point and vapor composition update every frame from an actual Raoult's-law vapor-liquid-equilibrium calculation (Antoine-equation vapor pressures for ethanol and water), so the thermometer plateaus near ethanol's boiling point while it boils off and then climbs toward water's as the pot runs dry, and the distillate's live purity readout falls over time exactly as it does in a genuine single-pass distillation.
