Taekwondo Roundhouse Kick Kinetic Chain

This simulation teaches the fundamental biomechanics of taekwondo's signature turning kick — the roundhouse (dollyo chagi) — by modelling it as a real kinetic chain rather than a canned animation. Hip rotation, chamber, knee-extension whip and recoil are all driven by adjustable power and timing parameters, and a 3D rigged fighter and target pad let you watch stances, chambering and the kick's execution while live readouts report joint angular velocities, foot impact speed, an estimated impact force and a kinetic-chain-efficiency score, so you can see exactly how proximal-to-distal energy transfer determines a kick's power in a safe, interactive environment.
