This simulation models a home automation system: a two-room smart house running a real IF-THEN rule engine against live sensor state. A day/night cycle drives outdoor light and temperature, an occupant wanders between rooms triggering motion sensors, and three independent automation rules — motion-activated lighting, daylight harvesting and thermostat climate control — decide what the lights, heater and AC actually do. A first-order thermal model integrates indoor temperature every frame, and a live energy meter totals the power every active device draws, exactly as a real smart-home hub and smart meter would.
