Decathlon Scoring Simulator

The decathlon is not judged on ten separate winners — it is judged on the World Athletics combined-events scoring tables, which convert every time, distance and height into points on the same non-linear scale so a sprinter and a thrower can be compared fairly. This simulator builds an athlete from four underlying attributes — Speed, Power, Endurance and Technique — derives a realistic raw mark for each of the ten events from event-specific weightings of those attributes, and runs the actual IAAF point formula (P = A×(B−T)^C for track, P = A×(M−B)^C for field) live to produce each event's score and the running total, rendered as ten rising 3D scoring columns around a track.
