Confetti Drop: Flat-Plate Aerodynamics & Tumbling (2D)

This 2D companion replaces decorative constant-speed spin with real flat-plate aerodynamics: each rectangular piece has its instantaneous relative air velocity split into a normal and a tangential component, each carrying its own drag coefficient, so a piece falling face-on decelerates hard while an edge-on piece barely feels the air. A shifting center-of-pressure lever arm couples the two components into a torque, so pieces genuinely flutter and tumble end over end rather than spin at a fixed rate — and the aspect ratio, air density and wind sliders visibly change which regime (steady glide vs. chaotic tumble) each piece falls into.
