This 2D companion reimplements the same layered sand-art mechanic as the 3D glass-box version as a flat side-view jar: five bands of colored sand grains settle under gravity inside a sealed glass jar, and tilting the jar — by dragging it, or with the tilt buttons — lets grains slide and avalanche across layer boundaries just as they would in a real sand-art bottle. The live readout tracks the current tilt angle, how many grains have come to rest, and how many of the five original color bands still occupy a distinct vertical slice of the jar, so a small tilt can be compared against a steep one that mixes the layers together.
