This simulation models a real occupational-therapy assessment, the Nine-Hole Peg Test, used to measure and retrain fine motor dexterity after stroke, injury or neurological impairment. A virtual patient repeatedly transfers nine pegs from a tray into a pegboard; each transfer's timing follows Fitts' Law for aimed hand movement, while tremor and spasticity introduce a real chance of dropping a peg mid-transfer. Adjust the patient's motor control level, tremor severity, task difficulty (peg width) and an assistive grip cuff, then run trials to watch completion time, drop rate and a power-law-of-practice learning curve evolve exactly as they would across sessions of real rehabilitation therapy.
