Servals hunt on their own — hearing and grass sliders change how well they find prey
Serval patrolling
Serval stalking
Serval pouncing
Rodent
This 2D companion pulls the acoustic-hunting mechanic out of the 3D savanna scene into a top-down lab: rodents scurry through the grass emitting rustle "pings", each serval independently localizes a ping with a bearing-and-range error that depends on your hearing-accuracy slider, stalks the resulting estimate rather than the rodent's true position, and finishes with the serval's real vertical mousing pounce whose success genuinely falls as grass height rises and rises with hearing accuracy.
